Set in the South Gloucestershire countryside, just outside Bristol, Tockington Park is a collection of traditional farm buildings that have been restored for weddings, stays and time well spent.
Welcome to Tockington Park
Tockington Park is our family home, a collection of carefully restored farm buildings set within 180 acres of the South Gloucestershire countryside.
What began as a long-term renovation project has become something we love sharing with others: a place to gather, celebrate and to spend time together. Each building has been carefully restored by skilled craftsmen, with a focus on quality that runs through everything we do.
We host a limited number of weddings each year, giving every couple the time, attention and space they deserve. With exclusive use of the wedding spaces, cottages and surrounding grounds and a dedicated team to support you throughout, Tockington Park feels less like a venue and more like your own country estate for the weekend.
Weddings and events shaped around you, with exclusive use of the wedding barns, on site accommodation and time to enjoy it properly.
Four beautifully restored cottages, tucked into the farm and surrounded by open countryside overlooking the field home to our alpaca herd.
From quiet mornings to more active days, time here can be as slow or as active as you want it to be.
A working landscape evolving to support biodiversity, with nature at the heart of everything we do.
What makes Tockington Park different
We are not a venue that hosts multiple weddings each week.
Your wedding is the only celebration taking place on the estate that weekend. No turnarounds, no sharing the space, no feeling rushed.
You will deal directly with us throughout. It is a small team and we take a hands-on approach to ensure everything runs smoothly. You will be well looked after.
The buildings themselves are at the heart of it all. Traditional farm buildings that have been restored with care and are now ready to be enjoyed by you and your guests.
About us
Tockington Park is our family home. We’re Ed and Gemma-Jane Gunnery and the estate has been in Ed’s family for six generations. Over the last twenty years, we have carefully restored its traditional farm buildings and surrounding landscape.
As Chartered Surveyors with backgrounds in property and land management, we are passionate about creating places with purpose. From transforming the former threshing barn into Swallow Barn to enhancing biodiversity across the estate, everything we do is rooted in long-term stewardship, thoughtful design and sharing this special place with others.
Today, Tockington Park is somewhere people come together to celebrate, stay, explore and connect with nature.
